What parents wish for

When a child cries upon entering the world, what is the first thing parents wish for?

Nothing but a child who is whole and healthy, with all limbs, without disability, able to live an ordinary life.

But parental love has never stopped at ‘enough.’

Parents also hope their children will have more strengths – a little smarter, a little brighter, a little more lovable. All these wishes are meant to pave the way to a bright future, a successful and happy life awaiting them ahead.

Regarding appearance, many parents understand that beauty also depends on genes. If they themselves are not beauty queens or pageant kings, they need not expect their child to become a universally adored beauty or ‘the most charming heartthrob on the planet.’

But when it comes to wisdom, there is always much hope for cultivation.

Even while their children are still in the womb, many mothers practice prenatal education, listen to music, read books, and talk to their babies. After birth, parents choose formulas containing DHA because they have heard ‘DHA makes children smarter.’ Yet perhaps nine out of every 10 people buying formula for that reason have never thoroughly investigated what DHA is or its scientific basis.

Parents often think: My child may not be very tall, handsome, or beautiful, but must be intelligent. Intelligence determines the ability to learn and open the doors of life.

Today, many parents remain ‘obsessed’ with grades, ready to invest everything in their children's intelligence.

A New Way to “Invest”

Actually, parents do not necessarily need to spend much money or buy expensive products to help their children become more intelligent.

Modern science has proven that meditation can increase average IQ by as much as 23%.

Dr. Siegfried Othmer, Director of Scientific Research at the EEG Institute, conducted neurofeedback research and found that regular meditators showed exceptional development in brain function. Just as working out strengthens muscles, meditation is “a workout for the brain,” helping the intellect become sharper, more alert, and clearer.

The wonderful thing is that meditation is not only for adults. Young children can meditate too. Mothers can meditate together, and fathers can meditate together.

Meditation not only makes children smarter but also calmer, more confident, less stressed, loving, and understanding.

Some children, when properly guided, can even meditate better than adults.

Every parent wants their child to be healthy, intelligent, and successful. Now there is a simple, inexpensive way to nurture both intellect and soul – practicing meditation together with your child.

A gift not only for your present, but also for your future, my child.
