Today I want to share a small but meaningful piece of good news with the community

Ladies and gentlemen,

(English version below)

Today I want to share a small but meaningful piece of good news with the community.

In recognition of my sustained contributions to mental health, education and social activities, a university from the United States — International American University (IAU) — honored me with an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mental Health.

The conferment ceremony took place as part of an Economic Forum in New Delhi, India’s capital, on 08/01/2026.

This is a beautiful milestone on the journey of transformation and service to the evolution of individual and collective consciousness — of Vietnam and humanity — connected to the aspiration I once vowed in Jerusalem: “Make Vietnam a Great Place To Live – Make Vietnam a better place to live.”

I receive this recognition as a gift, and also as acknowledgment of all those who have quietly served, and continue to serve, alongside me and one another on the path of healing, transformation, education and human development.

I believe this is a very simple message: “Keep serving with love and wisdom, and the universe will take care of the rest.”

Continue diligent practice, working with yourself and helping spread the true Dharma throughout this world. Then our souls will always be peaceful, steady, blissful, and harmonious, and all right intentions will naturally be fulfilled.

The greatest reward lies not in a title, but in the growth of inner qualities and virtues. All other recognition is merely a natural result sent by the universe.

Dear friends,

I would like to share some joyful news.

In recognition of my long-term contributions to mental health, education, and social service, a university from the United States — International American University (IAU) — has honored me with the degree of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mental Health.

The conferment ceremony took place during an Economic Forum in New Delhi, the capital of India, on January 8, 2026. This moment marks a meaningful milestone on a journey of transformation and service toward the evolution of individual and collective consciousness —of Vietnam and of humanity — guided by an aspiration I once made in Jerusalem: “Make Vietnam a Great Place to Live.”

I receive this honor as a gift, and as a recognition of the collective efforts of all those who have served — and continue to serve — alongside one another on this path.

I believe it carries a simple yet profound message: “Serve with love and wisdom, and the universe will take care of the rest.”

Let us continue to practice diligently, work deeply with ourselves, and support the spreading of the Dharma to the world. In doing so, our hearts will remain peaceful and steadfast, living in harmony, fulfillment, and the realization of our wholesome aspirations.

The greatest reward is always the cultivation of our own inner qualities and virtues. Everything else is simply a natural recognition that unfolds in alignment with the universe.
