Then… the next destination is Bodh Gaya – Gaya

Then… the next destination is Bodh Gaya – Gaya. Although I have visited India many times and the main purpose of this trip has been fulfilled, whenever possible I arrange to return “Home.”

This time, it is also for one thing…

Following a fortunate appointment with a monk, I am here to teach meditation to around 30 Indian children, in Buddhism's very “homeland.”

Teaching adults to sit still is difficult. Teaching 30 children to sit still together… is many times harder. Yet, in a quiet miracle, they managed to meditate. No strain. No coercion. Just being immersed in the True Dharma.

The meditation session took place right within the grounds of Bodh Gaya, just a few steps from the Mahabodhi Temple and the Tree of Enlightenment — where the Buddha meditated and attained enlightenment more than 2.500 years ago.

A very different morning. No noise. No ostentation. Just the energy of awakening quietly illuminating the heart of each little soul, as all resonated together in a very clear, very real energy field.
