Over the past 2 years, so many people have passed away…
It could be the mother of someone who happens to see this article, the father of someone reading this far, the older brother, older sister, friend, younger sibling, husband, wife, child, grandchild, or cherished loved ones… of someone reading this line. It is also the writer's beloved father and maternal grandmother…
Covid-19 is only part of the cause. More precisely, Covid is merely 1 catalyst. Many people have died from causes neither directly nor indirectly related to Covid.
In more than a decade of using Facebook, surely we have never seen so many announcements of loss, passing, and condolences…
That is because we are entering a new era. In this new era, all stored memories (mental defilements) are activated, lessons unfold sooner, karmic balancing accelerates and vibrational frequencies rise: a necessary acceleration to purify the “I,” the “mine,” material things and the many needs to which we remain attached… Everything happens when its time comes. Nothing is accidental, and nothing is unreasonable. Everything makes sense within a larger context.
Some have graduated from their lessons in this lifetime, said goodbye to those remaining, and departed. Some are truly beautiful angels… Some are truly wise souls… ?
That is all. They need to go. In the era of light, when they depart having completed their mission in this lifetime, let us peacefully and serenely wish them a gentle journey and rejoice for them… Death is not a tragedy; it activates lessons for everyone. They have departed to bring lessons to those who remain, and thus also have the conditions to move toward a better dimension. Everything was agreed long ago, before physical life took form.
Because death is 1 of the supreme experiences for cleansing the entire ego and returning to the light. We face death more than once. We can also face it in spiritual practice, when the old self “dies” and the universe joyfully welcomes the reborn self. Some people, when conditions are not yet sufficient and it is not their time to die, can experience and learn from death “indirectly,” through the death of their most beloved person, who leaves them for another realm. Death teaches not only the one who departs, but also so much to those who remain… Everything resonates and comes together through conditions to create a shared lesson in which everyone has a part, raising wholesome, refined energy for all.
This impermanent place, where Trịnh Công Sơn said we are merely “lodging in this earthly world,” is actually where we experience, learn, and evolve. It truly is a “temporary” place, with many “goodbyes.” Because we will return, or everyone will meet again.
So that one day we will all meet again, in the place of eternity, of light, of the beautiful high blue sky we still see whenever we lift our heads.
Be sad, cry, and then raise your head, look at and feel that sky.
And live well so that one day, carrying the lessons each of us has learned, we will all meet again in love and pride at having shared a journey truly worth living. On that journey, we have been spouses, fathers and children, mothers and children, siblings, friends, teachers and students, and cherished loved ones…
Everything eventually returns to the light.
