I do not know why, when a year has 12 months, the world officially recognizes June as the month for the LGBT community. My beloved June—June is also my birthday month.
That is why I also have… a strong affinity with LGBT people. In 2013, I advised an organization very active in protecting LGBT rights in Vietnam, researching and transforming its model from an NGO or NPO into an SE (Social Enterprise). Half a year later, it became one of Vietnam’s Top 10 social enterprises of the year and entered CSIP’s support program.
Just recently, my team and I condensed Vietnam's first entrepreneurship training program, X-Startup, into a “Mini Journey” version for a very special class. At the invitation of Path, a global organization, I led a class made up entirely of businesses providing products and services to LGBT beneficiaries, people in same-sex sexual relationships, female sex workers, people with drug addiction… Although it was a Mini version of the long-established X-Startup program and therefore offered only around 20% of the original's energy and content, it was still a wonderful experience and a great success for the whole class.
Perhaps the “law of attraction” worked again, because long ago I “knew” I would someday become connected with a class like this.
