When will you be happy?
When someone loves you?
When the whole world recognizes you?
When you have lots of money, fame, power or admiration?
Possibly… but possibly not.
Because if happiness depends on conditions, you will always have to wait.
Waiting for someone to arrive.
Waiting for something to happen.
Waiting for life to allow you to be happy.
But do you realize this: childhood does not wait.
Children have no money, fame, power, designer goods, or romantic love…
They need no recognition or flattery, nor do they become sad when others ignore them.
And yet… they shine like sunlight, are lively as birdsong, and carefree as drifting white clouds.
Because children do not seek happiness.
They are happiness.
We grow up and forget that.
We begin believing we must “have” before we can “be.”
Only with money can you live well.
Only with love can you feel complete.
Only with status are you allowed to smile.
We begin demanding, expecting, and placing the key to our happiness in someone else’s hands.
Then when they drop it… we blame them.
But in fact, it is our fault—for not holding on to it from the beginning.
Happiness is not a destination.
It is the original nature of your soul.
You do not need another person to complete you.
You do not need a crowd to feel whole.
You do not need stimulants to deceive the emptiness within.
You only need to remember.
Happiness does not come from anyone else.
It comes from nowhere.
It comes from One—you yourself.
Alone, but not lonely.
Alone, yet brimming with life.
Alone, yet touching the entire universe within.
When you return to yourself, you will realize:
Nobody can make you happier than you can.
And when you are fulfilled within, you do not need others to fill a void.
You will share happiness rather than demand it.
You will give love rather than bargain for it.
Two people who are happy alone meet—and will not imprison each other in the fear of loss.
They will fly together, not because they fear falling, but because both already had wings of freedom.
Happiness is remembering that you were happy all along.
No conditions. No reasons. No need for permission.
And like children, too…
You were light.
You are still light.
You will always be light.
