Receiving the message from ‘Secretary Kim,’ I felt more touched than surprised.
Surprised to look at myself and find the message's description accurate.
I am moved because whenever I ‘forget’ something, someone always helps me—an assistant, staff member, daughter, or student—so I have never lost anything. Sometimes I ‘forget’ an item for an hour before remembering and panicking, only to see my assistant or staff smiling quietly, the item safely kept. Looking back, I realize honest, truly sincere people still come to my sideh.
Perhaps the secret of happiness is having an extremely short memory and remembering nothing; I do that well. But lately I need to pay attention to myself again. I have let many things trouble me, worrying and arranging matters to satisfy every side, and I have not been decisive. Recently, someone reminded me that if everything has a heart, I am the “heart” of the community I founded. Everyone lives symbiotically. I must always be Okay. I have only one mission. I need to take better care of myself.
Go to bed a little earlier tonight. Put down your phone and your work.
