Watching the clip of a shoal of piranhas tearing apart bait in just 30 seconds reminds me of the moment in this picture.
At that moment, we were approaching the bank of the Amazon near the world's largest primeval rainforest. Dressed in an unusual outfit to explore this place, I was casting bait for tigerfish—extremely fierce carnivorous fish. I was excited about the goal ahead, but the local guide I had hired kept pointing behind us and saying, “Alligator, Alligator,” as a reminder: ‘When fishing for tigerfish here, remember to watch out for crocodiles approaching from behind.’
So there was plenty of tension on both sides—not to mention that whenever a Piranha was caught and thrown into the boat, even a supposedly manly man kept fearing it would refuse to lie still, flip up, and sink its sharp teeth in, biting his dick clean off ?
So, wishing you a new week full of new experiences: dream high with your head and keep your feet on the ground, look far ahead while your hands keep working nearby, and make things whole from beginning to end. Life is an ‘ocean of suffering’; getting beyond that ocean means… passing away. So savor the taste of sadness and negative things as well. Look straight at them, remain alert, observe them, and ‘evolve.’
