Ask:
Does what is called a Mission ultimately have meaning, or is it merely an illusion?
Answer:
“A mission is an oversized yoke we place around our own necks and others'.”
A mission is both right and wrong
And the statement above is both wrong and right
Distorted multilevel-marketing groups also have plenty of “missions”If a mission makes us lose our freedom, it needs to be reconsidered
But that is when we must also thoroughly understand what freedom is. Freedom means doing whatever one likes, with no more right and no more wrong
Or freedom means recognizing the connection between yourself and the blue sky and joining the universe's flow, “surrender,” no longer needing to resist through the mind's games, living entirely in “flow.”
When you follow nature completely, there is no “mission” anymore. Everything becomes “transparent”; the universe does everything through you. There is no “I” here to have “my” mission. The Buddha did not act for a mission. Or did he have one? Everything complements everything else. Wisdom is needed to understand this deeply…
But once we have agreed to come down here and live in duality, everyone has a mission, already present from the day of birth, already within us. A mission is not something to search for, something someone points out to us, or something we sit down and invent; it is already within. A mission is not Created or ‘fabricated,’ but Discovered. Through meditation we will see it; through observation and awareness we will see it; by understanding the signs, signals, and events that come to us we will see it, and so on.
That is how a mission can be both an illusion and a truth. A mission is a yoke around our necks. Yet it also carries this meaning… “Never deny your mission”
That is how it is.
If you were born here, you certainly have a mission.
Never reject your mission. A lesson in the Journey from many years ago taught me that even 1 bottle of water has a mission. If it lives according to its mission, it is also free; those two things appear at the same time
Everything has a mission
A recent lesson in The Awakening Journey taught me to Balance Purpose and Mission
Progressive teachings are continuously being offered… whether I can receive and realize them depends on me…
This life is both meaningless and meaningful
Understanding impermanence makes life seem meaningless
Understanding more deeply reveals that this is precisely why life is meaningful
Seeing everything as illusion makes life seem meaningless
Understanding that illusions teach us reveals that nothing in this world is meaningless; everything, absolutely everything, has meaning
The mission is the same
Your coming to this earth has an important meaning for your evolutionary journey.
Live.
