Actually, the Bible does not specifically mention Jesus's date of birth. People chose 24/12 as Christmas because it is the day of the Sun God's rebirth. That is the origin of this day. When an enlightened being comes into this world, that person is like a Sun of Righteousness.

The Universe operates through duality: where there is day, there is night; where there is light, there is darkness. Darkness is not the enemy, merely the temporary absence of light in preparation for a brighter beginning. When people understand advanced wisdom, they no longer fight darkness ‘in the name of light.’ They understand it and know that ‘Darkness is educational.’ Darkness is also a resource allowed by the Creator to exist in order to teach humanity necessary lessons. Darkness and evil themselves are creations that promote the evolution of all things.
Just as the Sun God is born when darkness reaches its deepest point, your awakening often comes only after periods of the “Dark Night of the Soul”—when all illusions collapse so your purest being can be reborn. Do not fear life's dark moments, for that is when the Sun within you is preparing to rise.
We do not come seeking light, but to remember that we already are light. The Sun God is not far away in the sky or in old doctrines. That Sun is right inside your chest. When you sit still, steady the mind, and allow it to fall silent, energy from Source flows into every cell. That is when you recognize that you are an inseparable part of Oneness, a drop of light in the vast ocean of consciousness.
And so Christmas should not be an occasion for excessive entertainment, eating, drinking, and unrestrained revelry… When we understand its true meaning, this day is an invitation to gather in warmth and stillness, to contemplate the darkness within—the distorted parts that still need understanding—and allow light to blossom in our hearts with gratitude, love, and charity.
On this special day, as the wheel of Dharma and the flow of energy turn to bring light back to the world, I send you wishes from a warm heart… May you keep unshakable faith in your own light even amid the dark night of trials.
