Recently, Sinh vi\u00ean Vi\u1ec7t Nam newspaper conducted an interview about student entrepreneurship. Since we regularly work with business owners, we are delighted to have this opportunity to share with and answer questions from students and young people. Here are some excerpts for your reference.
\u2753Many entrepreneurship competitions now give students opportunities to grow. How do you assess today's startup platforms and students' use of their opportunities?
Basically, these competitions are necessary. They offer three benefits to student entrepreneurs.
First is the chance to test your ideas against reality, hear critiques and suggestions, and \u201ckill\u201d an idea a few times before it is refined enough to become feasible and successful. This is the most important value. Sometimes we do not succeed in the \u201ccompetition\u201d but succeed in \u201clife.\u201d
Second are the relationships built through competitions, including with mentors, judges, and successful entrepreneurs. This only happens if you know how to approach people tactfully and sincerely while still demonstrating great ambition and the courage to think and act boldly.
Third is action, action, action. You will become familiar with teamwork, planning, selling, persuasion, critical thinking, leadership, and guiding others. If you participate wholeheartedly, this will be a beautiful memory from your student years.
\u2753Stories of students lured into fraudulent multilevel marketing networks and investment funds have recently prompted rescue efforts by the press and authorities. How should students properly understand this issue?
Replace \u201cGetting rich is not difficult\u201d with \u201cBuilding wealth with integrity and sustainability\u201d in your mindset. This is about awareness and thinking. We may have a generation wanting only to \u201cearn money even while sleeping.\u201d There is nothing inherently wrong with that, but greed easily leads people into dangerous scams. Used for wrongful purposes, such messages can lure many \u201cprey\u201d into losing money and suffering harm.
That is why I believe \u201cEarly Education\u201d is very important. Education determines how a person perceives, thinks, and acts. Students need to be equipped earlier with the \u201cFour Right Elements\u201d: Right Thinking + Right Attitude + Right Wisdom + Right Qualities\/Values. With these as their provisions, students will have sufficient inner strength and consciousness to distinguish \u201cBuddha\u201d from \u201cDemon,\u201d \u201cRighteous\u201d from \u201cWrong,\u201d \u201cReal\u201d from \u201cFake,\u201d \u201cRight\u201d from \u201cWrong,\u201d and \u201cDream\u201d from \u201cIllusion.\u201d
