{"id":12330,"date":"2026-01-26T11:34:30","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T04:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taminhtuan.vn\/?p=12330"},"modified":"2026-10-01T06:21:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-30T23:21:14","slug":"hanh-trinh-tu-than","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taminhtuan.vn\/en\/hanh-trinh-tu-than\/","title":{"rendered":"An Inner Journey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After living several decades, witnessing so many ups and downs, and feeling that you already have plenty of bad habits, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps\u2026 it would be hard to believe if I told you that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are perfection itself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That \u201cperfection\u201d is light, love, joy, spontaneity, creativity\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You were already \u2018perfect\u2019 from the beginning. There is nothing wrong with you. You have been perfect from the very first moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not believe it, look at children, or your own child. Have you ever looked at a child, seeing their innocence, joy, spontaneity, creativity, and love\u2026 and then, even briefly, wished: \u2018If only I could be like this child, carefree, loving life, without worries\u2026\u2019? That child truly is a joy. That child is happiness itself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you forgotten that you too were such a baby when you were born? That means you came here, into this life, as happiness; you are happiness itself. That is your \u201coriginal quality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But what happened?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We grow up, accumulate many negative memories, and \u201close\u201d our purity, transparency, and innocence. We think we are terrible, sinful\u2026 We no longer feel happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actually, our inner purity has never been lost. Our inner happiness has never been absent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So why do we not feel happy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is because, after so many years of living, you have created many memories in this lifetime, alongside many memories accumulated across numerous previous lives, \u201cstored away,\u201d amassed and added together. They all become a distorting layer that \u201ccovers\u201d your entire \u201coriginal nature.\u201d There are many negative memories and bad experiences\u2026 And they cover all of your \u201cinnate nature\u201d \u2014 happiness, love, joy and spontaneity\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once this distorting layer becomes too thick, you can no longer \u201ctouch\u201d the happiness \u201chidden deep\u201d within you. You lose your connection with happiness! And you become an unhappy person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is the essence. Understanding this has such a profound effect that it can \u201cblow away\u201d your entire mind \u2014 when you realize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life\u2019s greatest mistake is believing we lack happiness and must rush outside to search for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So we need money to be happy, someone to love us to be happy, material possessions, fame, status, and recognition from others to be happy. All things outside ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach means thinking that our \u201ccore\u201d is completely missing or empty, and that this \u201ccore\u201d is happiness. So we rush outward and frantically try to \u201ccompensate\u201d for that emptiness. Yet we feel increasingly empty and less happy\u2026 because we keep adding \u201cmasks,\u201d \u201couter layers,\u201d and \u201cmakeup\u201d to that \u201ccore\u201d without ever finding it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Change your approach!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The truth is that your inner \u201ccore\u201d is happiness, and it has never been lost. It has always been there. Too many things that are not happiness have simply covered it, preventing you from finding true happiness\u2014happiness from within, or intrinsic happiness. Because you yourself, without any external conditions, already are happiness. Not that you are happy (You\u2019re happy), but that you are happiness itself (You\u2019re happiness).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So what you do is not rush outward to seek more to fill what you lack. Instead, let go of more and more of everything that prevents you from connecting with happiness and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meditation is that letting go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because in meditation, through the techniques of practice, we gradually let go: of fame, status, and money, until even this body can be released; we let go of our mind and ego too\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is positive letting go: not letting go to escape, but letting go to connect with what truly matters, your \u201ccore,\u201d your \u201coriginal nature.\u201d Happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why meditation can help you find true happiness within. That is why, in the story about the cosmetics corporation, I said that once the managers knew how to meditate, they did not need to be in the Maldives to feel happy. If happiness is within them, they can be happy right now, right here, anywhere and at any time. Because they themselves are happiness. They also found peace immediately, right then, when they followed the practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why must we rush outward seeking things that are not ourselves in order to affirm who we already are?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is a misconception.
